The only reason people are worrying about the swine flu is that it is an unknown to us, and people are only afraid that it will come back and kill us all. It is just the media that is hyping it all up. I've been to NY twice in the past 2 weeks and I am as healthy as humanly possible

my husband travels all over the US...he hasn't gotten sick and neither has anyone else he's come into contact with. (most of the US military...)

Go where u want swine flu isnt as big as a deal anymore but if u still wanna stay safe u should bring hand santizer stay away from ppl who look sick or r coughing or snezzing u should b fine go where u think is best and have fun =]

Don't worry about it, everything on the news about it just exaggerated it so they could get hits or something. Be free and do whatever, it won't hurt you! :) But still, if you're still afraid of the Swine Flu, wash your hands every day, don't bite your nails, don't pick your nose, don't put your fingers in your mouth, don't put your fingers in anyone else's mouth or nose in that case... and carry hand sanitizer and hand lotion with you at all times. Enjoy your trip!

How much would it cost to travel to Tokyo from Tucson?
I really wanna go to Tokyo during my Thanksgiving break or Christmas break from school. Because I really wanna go see the places where Nintendo is, Anime shops and everything else video game and anime. I heard it is a really neat and clean place, but crowded. How much would a plane ticket cost these days to travel to Tokyo, Japan from Tucson, Arizona for like a week or two vacation? I so badly wanna goooo!!!!! And I can bring so many awesome things from there!! Also if I were to go, in what specific part of Tokyo or Japan, are the Nintend/Anime stuff located in those part of town?

Airfare : $1,500ish. Another $2kish for two week stay. If you're under 18, it's not going to happen.

Akihabara in Tokyo, you should go. The air tickets costs $1000 or more. And you should have more than $200 for each day to eat, and to sleep , without traveling or enjoying. Nintendo is located in Kyoto, Kyoto is about 2hour by super express from Tokyo

Air fare: You need $1000-1500 if you are departing from US Hotel: Usually, you need $100 per night if you want to stay at a hotel. If you want to save money, you need to stay at a hostel which will cost $30-50 per night. If you want to stay at a luxury hotel, you need $200-300 or more. Food, transportation and others: You need $50-100 or so per day. If you want to enjoy shopping, you need more. So you need $100 for hotel and $75 for others per day. If you want to stay in Japan for 2 weeks, the total cost will be $2450. Nintendo is located in Kyoto. So you must take a domestic flight or trains to go to Kyoto. Go to priceline.com. They have good deals. I have used them to travel from California to the Midwest. Usually Northwest has good prices, and they always seem to route me through Denver.

Try Southwest airlines. They have the cheapest deals.

First of all i do love to travel and do go thru denver international alot. First try expedia.com to get the best fares, but those fares don't include southwest airlines. You have to book directly thru southwest for those flights, and SW does offer non stops to Denver. But, keep in mind, SW does not have assigned seating, you will have to get a boarding pass and how soon you get the pass will determine your boarding priority. If you are traveling alone, its usually not a problem, but you could get a middle seat. If you are traveling with others and don't get the A or B boarding passes, you could have to sit separately, depending on the flight load. When I fly, I prefer an aisle seat, so I rarely use SW for that reason. Try Frontier and United, they like SW do offer non-stops into Denver, but they will have assigned seating. I rarely fly United, but with Frontier, you have three classes to which you purchase tickets. The most economical class doesn't allow pre-assigned seats, so if you pay a little bit more you do get an assigned seat at time of booking from which you can pick from a seat map. Otherwise I think its assigned the day of your flight, but not 100% sure. American will route you thru either Dallas or Chicago, both of which are very busy airports, as well as being a bit out of the way for this route. Also, you have to take into consideration the number of bags you will check. SW doesn't charge for the first two bags, but you have to watch your weight limits. Other airlines do charge for even the first bag, which I think is ludicrous. Look into the new early bird check-in at Southwest. It may improve your chances of getting the A or B boarding passes. Again, as it stands you can print your boarding pass 24 hours before the flight, but you have to remember to do it! I cannot comment on priceline, don't use it. Hope you have a great time traveling the U.S.

The strong competition fuels great deals you can find with a little research. I have used Travelocity with great success. You can run different scenarios changing times and dates to get the best deals. It is relatively easy to do and a lot of fun.
